You’re the Chef (Community)

You’re the Chef is a cooking program, originally designed for students in Grades 5-8 but has now been adapted to a variety of groups. Public health dietitians train educators and community groups to run the program with their own organizations.

If you are interested in becoming a trained volunteer leader or would like more information about the You’re the Chef program, please call Grand Erie Public Health – Simcoe site at 519-900-9600 and ask to speak with the dietitian.

The partners that make up the network include Haldimand-Norfolk R.E.A.C.H., Grand Erie Public Health and community members. CNN supports over fifty breakfast, morning meal, lunch and snack programs, providing nourishment to over 9,000 participating Haldimand and Norfolk children and youth 2 to 5 days per week during the school year. Find out more information about CNN.
