A Healthy Schools Approach
The School Health Team at Grand Erie Public Health partners with students, families, educators, school boards, and community organizations to foster healthier school communities. Together, we promote learning environments that support both academic success and well-being.
Creating a healthy school
Why it matters
Healthy young people are better learners and are more likely to complete their education. Schools play a central role in promoting student well‑being, consistent with Ontario’s education vision in Foundations for a Healthy School.
